Every commission at Metacarat follows a structured, collaborative process designed to ensure complete alignment with the client at every stage — before time, materials, or craftsmanship are committed.
Step 01
Initial Enquiry
Submit your brief or request a consultation. Our team will review your requirements and propose the most appropriate path forward.
Step 02
Design Consultation & CAD Development
Our designers work directly with your brief — or with your existing assets — to develop detailed CAD designs using Matrix Gold and Rhinoceros software. All designs are shared with you for review and refinement before any physical production begins.
Step 03
Wax Model Review & Approval
An approved CAD design is converted into a high-fidelity 3D printed wax model — your physical preview of the finished piece. We invite your review and approval at this stage before committing to casting.
Step 04
Casting & Production
Once approved, your piece moves to our production floor, where our 70-strong team of specialists handles casting, filing, stone-setting, polishing, plating, and finishing — each stage carried out with precision and care.
Step 05
Quality Inspection
Every finished piece passes through our multi-stage quality control process — examined under high-precision microscopes and reviewed against your original brief — before we consider it ready for despatch
Step 06
Delivery
Finished pieces are despatched from our Gemopolis freezone facility, benefiting from streamlined export procedures and efficient international logistics.

Quality Control
Quality control at Metacarat is not a department — it is a mindset woven into every stage of our production process.
From the initial assessment of incoming raw materials through to the final inspection of a finished piece, our team maintains an uncompromising standard of verification.
Our quality control team works with high-precision microscopes and digital imaging technology to examine stone settings, surface finishes, structural integrity, and dimensional accuracy against the client’s original brief. Any piece that does not meet the required specification is returned for rework — without exception, and without delay to the client’s timeline.
